The TMJ Complex in Context

TMJ dysfunction is an oft-overlooked causative component in many other pain conditions – especially of the head, neck and back.
On this workshop you will learn how to screen for TMJ dysfunction, what causes TMJ dysfunction (including local biomechanics, distant physiological and emotional effects), and therefore how to prevent and to treat the TMJ complex.
Learn about the feed-forward mechanism of the jaw, about multiple neurological reflexes associated with the TMJ, and about how evolutionary drives and embryological developments shape TMJ function.
